so my summer bucket list was only partially completed. i had ample time to kick it, and i failed. yet, in the wise words of a fellow carlyle employee, “it doesn’t matter if you failed, as long as you tried.”

i have yet to complete:

  1. (#4) sing karaoke at three separate venues.
  2. (#5) use a disposable camera.
  3. (#6) eat at artie’s, coastal flats, and jackson’s. (however, this summer i did make it to mike’s american, ozzie’s and sweetwater tavern, so boom.)
  4. (#9) see a motorcade… i’m pretty bitter about this one because i actually went into the city to see one on my last day in DC - i clearly didn’t see or hear it. for the record, i find it asinine that there would be TWO corners of 15th and penn. who does that?
  5. (#10) make and wear “we’re twins” shirts with my sister.

overall, i’d say i did a pretty decent job and hey, since i have five more things left to complete, i have even more of a reason to come back!
